On October 25, the China National Tourist Office in Tokyo hosted a promotional event titled “Beautiful China: Exploring Japanese Campuses” at the Beijing Language and Culture University Tokyo Campus, attracting nearly 50 students.
During the event, representatives from the China National Tourist Office provided a comprehensive introduction to various aspects of Chinese culture and tourism. They highlighted China’s intangible cultural heritage, folk arts, world heritage sites, social development achievements, and popular inbound tourism destinations. By utilizing a rich array of visuals and videos, they vividly showcased the diverse cultural and tourism resources China has to offer.
Following the presentation, the local students expressed strong interest in what they had learned. Many indicated that the event helped deepen their understanding of China’s cultural and tourism offerings and expressed a desire to visit China for study and travel during their upcoming winter and summer breaks, eager to experience the allure of Chinese culture firsthand.
Looking to the future, the China National Tourist Office in Tokyo plans to expand similar activities to more campuses across Japan, aiming to provide a more authentic, dynamic, and comprehensive view of China to the younger generation in Japan. This initiative is expected to enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the people of China and Japan, while also deepening cultural and tourism exchanges and cooperation between the two nations.
