On October 21, a promotional event for Ruili Airlines’ new route connecting Xining and Boao was held in Xining. I had the opportunity to speak with several attendees and learned that the round-trip flights between Xining and Boao are set to officially launch on November 10. This new route will offer travelers from both locations a more convenient way to travel and is expected to enhance economic and cultural exchanges between Qinghai Province and Hainan Province, addressing the increasing demand for tourism and business travel.
As the provincial capital of Qinghai and a vital transportation hub on the Tibetan Plateau, Xining is well-positioned to connect with Boao, a renowned tourist destination and conference center in Hainan. Ruili Airlines representatives shared that the decision to open this route was made after a thorough analysis of market demand, aiming to provide passengers with more travel options and an improved service experience.
The details of the flights are as follows: the Xining to Boao flight, designated DR5339, will operate every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, departing at 11:00 AM and arriving at 2:40 PM. Conversely, the Boao to Xining flight, designated DR5340, will also run on the same days, with a departure at 3:30 PM and an arrival time of 7:20 PM.
The introduction of this round-trip service between Xining and Boao marks a new travel option for residents of Qinghai looking to explore Hainan Province.
