-Linking up and down the chain for a win-win future- Railway Logistics Supply Chain (Xi’an) Cooperation and Exchange Conference was held

On October 19th, the Railway Logistics Supply Chain Cooperation Exchange Conference took place at the Xi’an International Conference Center in Shaanxi province. The event, themed “Connecting the Chain for a Win-Win Future,” aimed to explore and establish new pathways, cooperation models, and service innovations in the railway logistics supply chain, all with an eye toward promoting high-quality development in the sector.

The conference drew participation from 54 companies across various industries, including energy, metallurgy, chemicals, power generation, ports, and logistics. During the event, representatives from seven companies, including Shaanxi Coal Transportation and Sales Group Co., Ltd. and Shaanxi Yulin Energy Group, alongside the Xi’an Railway Logistics Center, engaged in discussions on how to enhance operational efficiency, improve service quality, and reduce overall logistics costs, thereby supporting the unified national market.

During the event, a collaborative initiative titled “Co-construct, Co-promote, and Co-share” was jointly signed by the Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission, China Railway Xi’an Bureau Group Co., Ltd., and other parties. This initiative aims to strengthen information sharing, resource integration, and institutional innovation, while addressing bottlenecks and vulnerabilities within the logistics chain. Additionally, China Railway Xi’an Bureau Group Co., Ltd. partnered with 13 companies on four key projects, including multi-modal transport initiatives linking rail and port services across Shandong, Liangshan, and Chongqing, thereby elevating the efficiency of the railway logistics supply chain.

Xiong Changwei, Deputy Director of the Freight Division at China Railway Xi’an Bureau Group Co., Ltd., noted that the event created an efficient, open, and mutually beneficial communication platform for producers, transporters, and consumers. The goal is to collaboratively develop a secure, stable, efficient, inclusive, and win-win railway transportation supply chain system.

Looking ahead, China Railway Xi’an Bureau Group Co., Ltd. plans to build on the conference’s achievements by further deepening reforms and innovations in the railway logistics sector. The company aims to enhance efficient collaboration across all segments of the supply chain, lower logistics costs for society as a whole, and provide robust capacity support for the development of a greener and lower-carbon transportation system, all while fostering high-quality growth in the transportation sector.
